Southwest Missouri Engagement and Wedding Photographer|Nicki + Reid

This was one of my favorite engagement sessions to date! Nicki and Reid were so much fun. They were laughing and joking around the whole time, which makes for the most awesome, amazing pictures:) Nicki and Reid met me at my studio location in Carthage and let me lead the way to a couple of my favorite rustic outdoor locations! They knew exactly what they wanted when it came to their engagement photos- a session that was vintage and rustic inspired, and a session packed full of love and props! They were definately my kind of couple:)!

Southest Missouri Engagement and Wedding Photographer| Jake + Beth Session

You all will have to forgive me for being MIA over the last few weeks! Between studio construction, countless galleries to edit, and everyday life, I have had my plate full! I promised myself upon purchasing this new blog site that I would do my very best to keep it updated, which I have not been doing a very good job at! So starting today, I promise to start updating more!
With all that said, let me introduce one of my favorite couples, Beth and Jacob! Their wedding is in EXACTLY 10 short days, which I am super excited for! We did their session several months ago, but it was just too beautiful to not share! They were just the cutest! Every time I told them to give me their serious faces, they would just burst into laughter! It was very obvious how in love they were. We planned their session strategically and made sure to end it at one my favorite fields during sunset which was so glorious and glowing!

Easter Mini’s

I do not think I have ever been this busy in my life! I don’t think I was even this busy when I was planning my wedding! Everyday, I work on finishing the studio, or shooting phootshoots, or editing photos, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! I have been having the time of life over the last year developing and growing my business! This past weekend, was Easter Mini sessions, which turned out spectacular! I lost count of how many lovely children I photographed, how many plastic eggs I broke, and how many jelly beans I passed out (and ate!)

Some of the props from my ever-growing stash that I drug out for the mini’s!

Some flowers, hats, boes, etc. in case little girls needed to accessorize!

I had germex and baby wipes handy just in case the chicks had an accident!

One of my three Easter chicks! Her name is Charlotte!

1000 Fan Wedding Giveaway!

I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how the wedding giveaway portion turned out! It is truly amazing that so many people stepped up to help a friend or a family member, or even a complete stranger! It was so inspiring to me! With that being said, I decided that I wanted to reward both couples, with free wedding/engagement/and bridal photography, and the other participant half off! It is so clear to me that all of these couples are so wonderful and so deserving!
I would also like to reiterate that I am truly humbled and so grateful to every single one of my fans. I never expected to be so far along, in so little time! I am so blown away by all the encouragement and support! Photography is my biggest passion in life and you guys are giving me the chance to follow my dreams. I am so thankful for every last one of you. I am excited to give back a little of the love you have all given to me over the last few months! I would also like to thank each and every one of the vendors that participated in the giveaway. None of them had to be so gracious and selfless! I hope to return the favor to each of them someday!
Be sure to check out all of their fan pages and support them too! Between myself and the rest of the vendors, the winners will be receiving over $3000 in prizes!

Denise Taylor - Thank you Emilee so much for putting together this contest along with the other vendors. I am so touched by the outstanding amount of involvement from both sides of the competition, all the participation form the vendors, and your kindness to offer up your services as well. This has been a great experience. I wish you all the best and hope the turnout from this contest brings your studio and the businesses of the other vendors much success. I am looking forward to working with you during this special time of Clay’s and mine. :)

Ashton-Carthage High School Senior Rep-Class of 2013!

Meet Ashton!

Ashton is one of my Carthage High School reps! I had a blast getting to know her duing her first session! I loved that she was willing to try every pose and crazy idea I had to throw at her… including A TON of confetti! We shot downtown on a very windy day, but she was such a trooper the entire time!

I think you will  agree when I say that she is stunningly gorgeous! I mean, would you not kill for her hair or what?!? She is also one of the sweetest and bubbly seniors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I think we would be best friends if I was in high school too!:)

What is the one TV show you can’t live without? “Pretty Little Liars.”
